Our promise
Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
What our warranty covers
Burner Brothers Plumbing warrants that the work we perform will be free from defects in workmanship for the periods below, measured from the date the work is completed:
If work covered by this warranty fails because of a defect in our workmanship during the warranty period, we will repair or redo that work at no charge for labor. Just give us a call or send an email, and we'll take care of it.
Parts, fixtures and equipment
Products we supply, including water heaters, fixtures, valves and parts, are covered by their manufacturer's warranty, which varies by product. If a part we supplied fails during our workmanship period, we'll handle the manufacturer claim where one applies and cover the labor to replace it. After our workmanship period ends, the manufacturer's warranty continues to apply to the product itself.
We're happy to install fixtures and equipment you purchase on your own. In that case our warranty covers our installation labor only, not the product.
What isn't covered
- Normal wear and tear, or problems unrelated to the work we performed.
- Damage from misuse, neglect, accident, freezing, flooding, fire, lightning, power surges or other events outside our control.
- Pre-existing conditions or failures elsewhere in your plumbing system, including aging pipes, corroded fittings and sewer lines we did not replace.
- Work that has been altered, repaired or tampered with by anyone other than Burner Brothers Plumbing.
- Drain cleaning: clearing a drain removes the blockage present at the time of service. New clogs caused by grease, wipes, hair, tree roots or damaged pipe are not workmanship defects, though we'll always tell you when we see a bigger problem.
- Damage caused by water quality, sediment, hard water or skipped maintenance, such as not flushing a water heater annually.
- Cosmetic concerns not raised at the time the work was completed.
- Indirect or consequential losses. If you believe our work has caused damage to your property, please contact us right away. We're fully insured for exactly that reason and will respond promptly.
How to make a warranty claim
- Call (719) 406-3328 or email [email protected]. Have the service date and address handy.
- Describe what's happening. If there is an active leak, shut off the fixture valve or your main water supply first.
- We'll schedule a visit promptly. Warranty calls are prioritized, and our 24/7 emergency line is available for urgent issues.
- If we find the problem isn't covered, we'll explain why and give you a clear price before doing any billable work.
