About Us
Two People, One Truck, No Call Center
Burner Brothers Plumbing is a family-owned shop in Pueblo West. When you call, you get Jessica. When someone turns up at your door, it’s Eric. That’s the whole company, and it is exactly as much as you need it to be.
Who you’re dealing with
Eric Burner
Plumber
Eric is the one who turns up and does the work. He spent years in the trade before certifying to work on his own in 2020, which is when Burner Brothers started — so the business is younger than the experience behind it. He holds Colorado Plumbing License #4880 and is the name you’ll see in most of the reviews on this site.
He is also the one who will tell you a repair is the better call when a replacement would have been the bigger invoice. That is most of why the phone keeps ringing.
Jessica Hackett
Customer Service
Jessica looks after customer service: getting your job on the schedule, answering the questions that come up along the way, and making sure nothing falls between the call and the work getting done.
Plumbing is a trade where plenty of outfits let the phone go to voicemail and call you back when they feel like it. Having someone whose actual job is keeping track of you is the difference between a scheduled appointment and a vague maybe.
How we got here
Just about every customer we have came by word of mouth. Someone nearby had us out, it went well, and they mentioned us to a neighbor. We have never had a sales team and have never cold-called anybody, which means the business has only ever grown as fast as the work deserved.
That is a slow way to build something and a hard one to fake. It also sets the terms: when your customers arrive through people who already trust you, a job done carelessly costs you more than the job was worth. We would rather be the plumber a street keeps recommending than the one with the biggest advertising budget in Pueblo County.
How we work
A few things we hold to, because they are the things we would want from a plumber:
- You know the price before we go further. Free estimates on most jobs, explained in terms that mean something, and no discovering the number at the end.
- We tell you when the cheaper option is the right one. A repair that buys you five more years beats a replacement you did not need, even though the second one pays better.
- We say what we do not know. If a problem needs opening something up to diagnose properly, we will say so rather than guess confidently and bill you for being wrong.
- The work is guaranteed. 30 days on minor repairs, a year on water heater installs and larger jobs. The details are on the warranty page, in plain language.
Licensed and insured
Eric holds Colorado Plumbing License #4880, and the business carries insurance. That matters more than it sounds: licensing means the work meets code and will pass inspection, and insurance means that if something goes wrong in your home, putting it right is our problem and not yours. Ask any plumber for both before they start. Any good one will be glad you asked.
Where we work
Pueblo and Pueblo West, plus the communities around them — the service area page has the map. Normal hours are Mon–Fri 8am–4pm, with 24/7 emergency service for the problems that cannot wait until Monday.
